In my last post I talked about what reasons might possess you to want to blog full time. I also laid out one of the most factors for a successful blog. That being high quality content. In this post I wanted to touch on the other most important factor.

Marketing

A blog with the best content in the world does no one any good if no one sees it. You must implement effective marketing techniques in order for people to know you exist. This is especially important if you want any sort of income for your blogging  efforts. So the equation for successful blogs is:

Quality Content + Effective Marketing = Traffic (income)

Marketing is a large subject to tackle and would be difficult to do in just one post. I will cover this in later posts. For now, be thinking about ways to get the word out about your blog. Later.
