You can visit Craigslist and post free ads on their site promoting your business opportunity or website. I have seen lately how some are spamming them with ads. It seems to be a good source for free leads.

One thing to keep in mind though is that sometimes Craigslist will ghost your ads. Meaning that they will not show the ad. Typically you have to wait like 15 minutes to check this. However there is a way to do this immediately. When you get the link url from your confirmation e-mail you can visit the ad. Right click the page and view the page source. A couple lines down from your ad in the html you will see a phrase, “Craigslist hosted images”. If you see this then you know that your ad is being shown. If not then it will not be shown.
